About Gary Walsh

Hello my name is Gary Walsh, I am an ex professional goalkeeper.

Previously I have played for Man Utd under Alex Ferguson and Brian Robson at Middlesborough.

I helped to gain promotion into the premier league with Bradford and followed Paul Jewell to Wigan where I became a player/coach.

Since turning fully into coaching I worked and coached John Filan, Chris Kirkland [England International] Mike Pollitt, Carlo Nash, Roy Carroll [Irish International] Stephen Bywater [England under 21 international] and Lewis Price [Welsh international]. More recently Jake Keane [England under 21 international].

My current employment is as a professional goalkeeping coach at a first division club.

In my playing career I have been coached by some of the best including Neville Southall, Peter Shilton and Mike Kelly [England Goalkeeping coach].

From this I have instilled into my various techniques, which I adapt to the modern game and pass on in my school.
At my Goalkeeping School the emphasis is simply on everyone becoming better goalkeepers. My fun, enjoyable sessions are designed to improve every participant in the art of goalkeeping. All abilities are catered for in exciting sessions, designed specifically to develop, enhance and challenge the abilities of each goalkeeper.

The sessions are all taught by me, I have no other members of staff and you will be able to talk to me after each session or by phone and discuss your childs needs and expectations.
